My Keys Please is Abayomi CDC's annual, full-day homeownership seminar designed to move Detroit residents from aspiration to action. Attendees spend six hours with housing counselors, mortgage lenders, real estate agents, inspectors, and contractors — walking away with the education, confidence, and connections to make homeownership a reality.
Participants who complete the program receive an official HUD-recognized Homebuyer Education Certificate — a required credential for many down payment assistance programs, including MSHDA's statewide offerings. This is not a passive workshop. This is a life-changing day.
