Privacy Notice & Program Disclosure

Collection and Use of Information. Abayomi Community Development Corporation (CDC) collects the personal and financial information on this form solely for the purpose of providing HUD-approved homebuyer education and housing counseling services. Your information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

HUD Requirements. As a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, Abayomi CDC is required to collect certain demographic and financial information to document program outcomes and report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This data is submitted in aggregate and de-identified form to comply with federal reporting requirements under the Housing Counseling Program (24 CFR Part 214).

Confidentiality. All information you provide is treated as confidential. Staff members are bound by professional confidentiality standards. Your information may be shared with partner organizations directly involved in your housing counseling case (such as lenders or down payment assistance program administrators) only with your knowledge and consent.

Budget Information. The monthly budget you have provided is required for HUD compliance and for your counselor to provide meaningful, personalized guidance. It is stored securely and accessible only to Abayomi CDC housing counseling staff.

Your Rights. You have the right to review your file, request corrections, and withdraw from the program at any time. To make a request, contact us at info@abayomicdc.org or (313) 541-9828.

Program Participation. Participation in My Keys Please 2026 is voluntary. Attendance does not obligate you to purchase a home or use any specific lender, product, or service. Abayomi CDC does not endorse any specific lender or real estate professional.

Certificate of Completion. A HUD-certified homebuyer education certificate will be issued upon completion of the full program and submission of a complete intake form including the monthly budget. This certificate may be required by lenders and down payment assistance programs.
