Camp Information
Our Youth Summer Camps are geared toward physical fitness and sports activities. All camps will include academic enrichment, arts & crafts, movies, and a field trip to enhance your child’s summer camp experience. The camps are Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, for youth ages 5-12. Youth must pack a lunch. Before and After Care services are available through our Latchkey Program.
Soccer Camp (Week 1) June 16 - June 20
Kids will learn soccer training skills while strengthening their motor skills development. Soccer also helps develop concentration and decision making skills.
Volleyball Camp (Week 2) June 23 - June 27
Kids will learn how to serve, pass, spike, and block. Volleyball is a great way to get in shape.
Tennis Camp (Week 3) June 30 - July 3
Kids will learn the basics in the sport of tennis including how to hold a tennis racquet and how to serve the ball. Hand and eye coordination, along with speed and movement will be stressed.
Jr. NBA & Jr. WNBA Skills & Drills Camp (Week 4) July 7 - July 11
This popular basketball camp is back again this summer. Campers learn various drills and techniques, specializing in fundamental skills and the team concept of basketball.
All-Sports Camp (Week 5 & 6) July 14 - July 25
A variety of sports and physical activities that include karate, kickboxing, yoga, bowling, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, soccer and more.
If you prefer not to register online, you can call Abayomi CDC at 313-541-9828. All camps cost $75 per week except Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA which is $90. There is a one-time $25 non-refundable registration fee. Please make checks payable to Abayomi CDC.
